Excuse me, but has anyone seen my youth? Did it run off somewhere because I didn't thank it enough while it was here? Please, if you happen to see it, tell it for me that my get up and go has gotten up and left.  *sigh*

I think it grabbed mine by the hand and skipped off somewhere. I'm stuck now with being a woman I never expected to be....sucks big time!

So shall we laugh or cry? Laugh, it makes fewer facial lines!

Ah...I saw them today, playing by the stream of thought under the willow of inspiration...they were laughing, smiling, and sharing dreams!

You know, even up to this past 4th of July, I get carded for buying fireworks. You only have to be 16 to buy fireworks here. And buying cigarettes? Heh. Much less alcohol... "are you sure that's not a fake ID?"

I turned 31 in January.

My guess is that I got all y'all's youth, cause I don't seem to have aged in 15 years!

Anyone wanna walk my dog for me? Oh, nevermind, I might just find my misplaced youth along the route. Geez...I hope Meeka doesn't have to "#2".....with the snow all gone, I will have to bend over to "scoop it up." Oh, my lower lumbar!

Christopher...you young whippersnapper!! Hand over my 30's...40's even....whatever! LOL.  Luv you guys!!!

Turning 35 doesn't scare me. See... everyone told me that when I matured, I'd lose the immortality of youth.

I figure I'm safe, as I'm never likely to mature...

Sweetie?

I haven't seen your youth, but I have seen mine, and I'm damned glad it's gone.

Karen - perhaps mine has found yours and they are comparing notes?!!

Anywhoooo, I do have something to look forward to. In another few years I will be getting my Social Security check each month! The letter the government sent to me awhile ago stated that each month I will be receiving $12.63 !! Oh joy, oh bliss! Whatever shall I do with all this extra cash? Hmmm...shares in arthritis meds? No, no, too dreary.... a bikini wax?...no, no, there won't be the need....ummm.... this is a toughy. I will get back to you all on this. Now where was I? Oh yes, youth. It's all hype anyway.

What I want to know is who's stealing my portion of sleep?!!!

He was a man of sorrows
...I am a girl of tears.

Ah, GG .... 17 and you're worrying about sleeping?!!! No one ever passed away from lack of it. So, take a nap if you lose abit of sleep and enjoy each and every minute of you're waking, fleeting youth.
good grief...I've become my grandmother!

Now, there y'go, Chris.  I most certainly hope I DO become my grandmother. I love my mother very much, however, she didn't live as long, or with as much verve and vitalness that my grandmother gave life.  Here's to our Grandmothers! *clink*

You all are too cute to be old....youth is a state of mind you know....and mine is with me most of the time....and, I just need to find my birth certificate to be able to get my small pittance of SSsigh!  Just remember how wise you get as you get older....I think maybe it's worth it...sometimes.

Martie, you are a sweetie.
I don't really mind getting older, I just dislike the aches and pains that go along with it. That, and the fact that my face is getting jowls not unlike that of an English Bulldog! lol.

Aches and pains?
Is THAT what these creaks
and groans mean?

ROFL....
