Lonely Lady , You are probably hurt, at this hour of the day. You were just a little to tired to join me today. Sometimes I wonder what your thinking when you are all alone in your aviary. When all the moons in the sky are fading... ...and shrinking. You have no idea whats made me wary. Its so true. You have no Idea why I love you. |

As always with your poems the wonderful imagery dominates "When all the moons in the sky are fading... ...and shrinking." I loved it. As I say the imagery dominates ... but I have very little clue as to what you are talking about lol  . Or maybe even as I write and read again it is dawning on slow old me (lol) that this is NOT a poem about a bird in an avairy being looked at by a person outside...... I'm going to stick my neck out here .. It does occur to me that alcholism may be involved. "At this hour of the day" ... "a little tired" ... "moons shrinking". "You have no idea what's made me wary" ... ...... Yes well at least I got beyond the bird in the cage metaphor ... and anyway, like all your poems, the images make it memorable.... Thanks Philip |
