when i go to hell
i want virgil's job
i want to be a virtuous heathen
how no matter how good they were
it was not enough
the kind red spirits are demons

how can you be so
conscienceless, without an angel
perched on your cartoon shoulder??
could you be any colder?

right now
i can feel how worthless it ALL is
"seeping out on to the screen"
yes, you too
yes everything

and if virgil won't
hand over his position
i want to be somewhere near judecca
no matter how hard i tried
it was not enough
now the kindred spirits are demons

Roxane,
This a very powerful and angry piece.
So much so, that as the reader, I feel as if I am the intended recipient.
You have very effectively depicted a personality at "turning point", who has an extremely jaded and fatalistic attitude.
Sort of a spiritual commentary on how souls are finally lost, or pushed, over to the "dark side".
I really liked the entire poem.

Impressive roxane

Some minor things...

- typo in line four
- I think capital I's read better than little ones..but that is my personal op
- I think you need a comma between kind and red

'how can you be so
conscienceless, without an angel
perched on your cartoon shoulder??
could you be any colder?'

This is good...but I'd dump one of the question marks after cartoon shoulder.

I'm not familiar with Judecca (gasp lol) - can you explain that? It sounds nice and mysterious...I like it...

I'm not sure about the last line...I think it might be overstating...

nice piece of work, roxane..

judecca is a region in dante's inferno where betrayal against a benefactor was punished.  thanks for the replies.
