The Suffering: Look at Them
They see you
But you ignore them.
They think of you
Yet you do not want to know.
Everywhere you go they follow you
And this bothers you.
When someone asks about them
You say you know nothing.
But they are inside you –
Your conscience knows
And your ego struggles
Against these thoughts.
The suffering are a multitude
Look at them
And give them your hand.

I must say that I like what you have done with this. I read it a couple of times to figure out who exactly the suffering are and, while I'm usually a stickler for details, I don't think details are necessary in this case. You've given me enough here to help me to realize that it doesn't matter who the suffering are but, rather, what really matters is that those who are suffering are helped.
