I was reading poetry that was posted long ago-
Some authors, long departed, that I never got to know.
Yet, as I read and pondered expressions of their art-
They somehow left a legacy, a portion of their heart.

Marge Tindal with her insights, Whtdove with her faith-
And, O, so many others, whose efforts left their trace…
As I sit, and read, and ponder, It seems they all draw near-
Paul Wilson and ethome, and, of course, there’s Balladeer.

Passing Shadows and Enchantress, and, O, so many more-
May we all be re-united  on some future, better shore.
And, no longer fueled by heartache, may joy take its place…
In a “Passions” grand reunion, when we all complete our race.

John...I always enjoy reading your poetry.
Thanks so much for including me as one of those you revisit from time to time. It puts a smile on my face. I also visit those no longer with us and those that are still with us no matter where they are now...Paul

Om my God John, you stilled my heart with this.  This place was once a great big family, and the loss of so many is felt by all of us who remain.  A sigh for days long past, and a beautiful hope for poetry halls in heaven.

Beautiful! I can't bring myself to go read the lost ones' writing. It hurts.
