Are we only just waking up
hypnotized by our dreams
and the way the wind blows?
we can not blame the past on not knowing
we knew more then, than we do now
and yet we are still falling
and then still falling apart
the same lonely feeing in our hearts
the fear that we dared to dream
too deeply
you may find me heartless
but every time i open up it hurts
and the tears they dry faster than before
do you know what it meant to let you in
to let you close?
do you know what love was?
empty words, used too freely
promises broken, too often
i try to remember if there was anything else
i cant
but it was just a dream
so i guess its fine to forget
right?
i think it was beautiful

I leave to walk ahead, only to be lost
Even though I cannot see the end, I will leave on a journey at range, i think its alright if i disappear

To dream at all may be to dream too deeply I think. To imagine that in pulling others closer we may actually alleviate the aloneness we feel...and yet, the whole act of making ourselves vulnerable to the attempt is a beautiful thing and remains so, even in the wash of disappointments that may have arisen from it.
