Pretty words aren’t always true. True words aren’t always pretty. What’s a mind to do? What a pity. What to believe, what to do… Taking leave of my senses, to try the other shoe. Trying to understand why I think different than you. Drawing a concensus with thoughts to chew. Some things are black and white, others are gray, Then there are those that go either way. Which is right, it’s hard to say. Harder still to determine if it's wise to compromise on conviction. Dreams aren’t always fiction. Listen with your heart to find direction. Heed its detection of that we call True. Be kind in all you do. Fear, anger and hate will always only serve to cloud your view. LGR(C)6/1/21 |
