Can't quite numb the pain... nothing that could explain Alone, mistakes got in the way will I make it through the day Twenty Twenty, didn't leave me the same not even sure, where to place the blame. Lost in the chaos, of yesterday. You left me to suffer, alone in this rain. It was a hurricane, and I was just a lonely tree. Blowin' in the wind, away from reality. You said infatuation, was the name of your game. Homeless, wreckless, and abandoned. Alone. Alive, yet gone. Silent. Twenty Twenty One, wish I coulda skipped this one. Why can I not escape, mistakes made. Why can I not breathe, anxiety suffocating. Why can I not, why can I not? Not a soul will understand, not a soul that I could confide. Why can I not, why can I not? Trust But its these mistakes made, its the bed that I have laid. What is left, in the broken-ness Can a person be salvaged, once shattered and broken, over and over. Can I ever be okay, or do I just walk away. |
