I was sitting here thinking,
as I often do,
and I thought about
all the wonderful ways
that you are you!
You know that you are
pretty and smart.
But did you know
that is just the start?
You are sweet and kind
and love to laugh.
But did you know
that’s not even half
of the wonderful you are?
You are a great big sister!
You deserve a big gold star!
You have a little nose
and wiggly toes
that are like nobody else’s.
There is not a chance
that with the way you play soccer
and dance,
someone could think
that’s not her.
It’s true
It is easy to see,
it is our Heidi
Because of all the
wonderful ways you are you.

I like your rhyming style. The way you write makes the poem full of energy and great story telling.
