A friend once told me I should count my blessings. So I did. I had a lot of counting to do. I racked up a bunch of numbers Just being blessed by freedom of the past. Today I have things I never dreamed I’d have. My parents are still alive. My children have exceeded my expectations. I’m not being used and abused in my marriage. I have love in my life. We make ends meet. So far, even the cancer has turned out okay. I’m writing as much as ever. I have grand babies! My daughter and I are finally getting along. (that’s huge!) And all things considered, I feel the best about me as I ever have. So thank you my friend for inviting me to go there, I needed that. |

Pinkblessings, I was rather surprised myself. And really it is all I have ever asked for. Guess that makes me pretty lucky. Thanks for hangin' in with me and Bluesy. ~L |

This is magical you, Lori. You put words unlike no other to express how you feel about what you are going through, either bad, or like this one, good. ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |
