The wind gets the trees to talking in no uncertain terms. He rabble rouses the tin on the shed door that bangs for all its worth. It speaks in skritch with branches rubbed against the window. The wind gets the house to whisper in creaks and groans that make it a home. It whistles past your ears a breezy tune you know by heart and don’t care for. It takes advantage of warm exposed necks and murmurs things that will chill you. On some days it talks so bad and strong you’d think it might could kill you. LGR©10/29/17 |

Not bad out today, but the wind has been impressive the past several days and by impressive I mean pain in the neck. Thanks for commenting. ~L |

This is the time of year when the winds have much work to do, Lori Rhoden...they don't really want you to take their efforts personally. ...just bein' Bluesy |

Great capture of the wind Lori Lou ~ Actually I like the wind as long as it isn't crazy ~ I love the sounds my wind chimes make all over the backyard ~ Sounds like a orchestra playing Alana |

So cute and and so very true. The wind does indeed speak a language of its own. Your poetry is so fun to read lori. |
