I knew what happened, but did they? Did they understand sheer perfection? No! All they knew was to blame Innocence….behind that screen Do we ever know, or see, with our ears It’s time, to folly along great lakes of mire To be, as it is assigned true meaning For in that moment, of forest cover Comes inanimate matter Just a vision Tapping into a proclamation of life’s stir I had been left to squirm behind a lens Knowing, ever so knowing, right after birth A lair of infinite beauty, some wheel speaks definition While the babe lays unto a particular time It is seen before, then comes alive I waited for that bus to reach out Searching for clarity….fitting together Like an introduction to magic The mouth of a book opens wide As we sign our name, there are signs That come out to play and rhyme |

I read this several times trying to discern your poem, trying to force it into some kind of preconceived notion. The more I read it the more I enjoyed each line one by one individually. And then I let your poem take me on it's journey, looking forward to each line as I came to it. Cool thought provoking images filled my head and I enjoyed the trip. ~L |

Thanks much for attempting, although, I could never reveal what this one means, it is and was an extremely private experience... Hugs.... |
