 The Autumns vibrant beauty Warms the chilly day As we take a wagon ride Bedded down with hay Across the meadow we go Wind whipping our hair Bumping about and laughing We have not a care We reach our favorite spot Under the big oak Settle down to feast on a Sandwich and a coke Sharing a candy~apple Lips so soft and sweet A delicious finale When sticky lips meet Lying among Falls colors Leaves drift from above They mingle with whispered words Sharing in our love © Poet In Pink |

No colors quite like Wisconsin & Michigan colors, that's for sure. Back a few decades ago Miss Pinky, I took my new bride to "Yooper" country to see the fall colors. We drove around the lake going and took the Ludington ferry back to Wisconsin. Your poetry and image make me feel as though it were today. Just lovely.  ...just bein' Bluesy |
