Despite her cool procrastinations she has finally given in to her hotter side. Oven like days give way to muggy evenings and breathless mornings greet you. Clouds talk of rain, but they are only teasing. The wind comes up in the afternoon to blast the heat around. Her reign is running short. Soon September will be nipping at her heels, come to put out her fire. LGR(C)8/21/17 |
