Appalachian Dawn Cool-bright clouds hugging dark hilltops. Luminous spectral fog all as yet painted in condensed moonlight. A loon's cry shatters the silence over bare-bone trees and rocks, 'Deep-Time' sentinels. Quintessential loneliness ... then a perfect sunrise! --- b. e. adams (7/26/2017) |

Many thanks to each of you for commenting on this particularly li'l "poetic scribble!" These ancient 'endless' hills of old Appalachia have always been my primary sensei (teacher) and muse (inspiration) .. |
