Behind the "Smoke and Mirrors" lies an old standard from the mid-sixties by Jimmy Ruffin titled, "What Becomes Of The Brokenhearted". That's where I know the line from this tune, "Happiness is just an illusion". I do that sort of stuff Jack, so it's easy to recall. You may not have been aware, and it's really no big deal if you did. Many performers covered this song and the lyrics are pretty well known. All that being said, I enjoyed your poetry very much.
