I refuse to act like anybody but myself I refuse to change for any man A man has to love me for me They will have to accept my imperfections I have a great sense of humor I can make anyone smile and laugh I'm very caring Sometimes I care just a little too much That's just me My heart is an open book to the right person One who accepts me for who I am Being myself is all I can be If you want to be part of my life accept this |

You know that there are many other people and situations which demand you to be other than you are. Social functions, even the people you consider friends. Not all men are like that . . . Just saying . . . ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

Yeah, not all men are like that. Unfortunately, most of the ones I have been in relationships with have been like that. Thank you for the comment though! 😇 |

Well, my friend, your intentions are honorable, just remember that it has to go both ways, tit-for-tat so to speak - and personally I've never known, or known of, a relationship were concession didn't have to be made, on both sides, for it to work. And that applies to any relationship between any two or more people. Beyone that . . . much enjoyed the read. j. |

Most people who know themselves seldom say they do. They're confident and secure in their relationships. If someone pulls the plug on them, it rarely has anything to do with them and they're not very vocal about placing blame. Those that 'know themselves' and say so usually tie up with someone inferior to them. So? That's a lot of air to expel, isn't it? Okay, then just follow that old adage that depends on failure to be of any use; "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again"! Unless you die first, this ALWAYS works! *I'm undecided as to what to say regarding your poem because it seems to spin the ringer of the complaint department. BTS ...just bein' Bluesy |
