    Your Special One

In the fading warmth of
a long-shadow sunset
as a soft Summer breeze
tickles the evening leaves
      to dance,
these endless forest paths
diverge to everywhere and
     nowhere.
A gentle twilight tapestry
of ageless stars and clear
     moon rising
settles on this sylvan scene.
In the unbounded vastness of
Earth, sea and sky you may
      seek
ten thousand pleasures of
the unencumbered heart;
but, to learn more about Love
you must love … truly, only,
unconditionally, and always
with infinite passion your
      special one.
