     Love that Lasts

As with our finest memories
of the grand-immortal, mystic
hours just before a fresh
    Spring dawn;
the multitudinous scents of
a Summer evening hanging
    low;
the mellow magic of
an Autumn afternoon;
or the untouched elegance
of a white-velvet Winter
      forest
by perfect moonlight;
True love, unlike glory,
should never be fleeting.
