Something Beautiful There's a cold taste on my tongue something beautiful has come undone I wait for you in the night I wait for you in the night I love you but you're gone from sight And something beautiful inside crumbles into the darkening tide still I'll wait for you on the other side I'll wait for you on the other side right across this river wide Won't you tell me what's wrong can't even tell what's right the melody of our favorite song drifts away into the night and something beautiful fades to white something beautiful fades to white white as your wedding dress now it's just a tangled mess but I'll wait for you on the other side I'll wait for you on the other side There's a warm touch on my skin something beautiful burning like sin I watch for you to rise I watch for you to rise I need you but your spirit flies And something beautiful inside leaves me vacant upon this riverside but still my love for you won't be denied still my love for you won't be denied again I'll take that midnight ride And something beautiful fades to white something beautiful fades to white white as your wedding dress now it's all a tangled mess but I'll wait for you on the other side I'll wait for you on the other side for something beautiful to be my guide "Whatever makes you weird is probably your greatest asset"-Joss Whedon |

sadly romantic, but it's good to hold on to the beautiful in our lives - too many tragedies touch us, such rare moments are very precious |
