If the magpie is nervous,
Does it make her more intelligent than you?
Of even if the baker
Ignores you or understands you?
Or if the journalist more speaks loudly.
Or if the hare runs faster?
Is it not the reason which imports
More than the way of appearing ? of saying ?
In any thing poetry opens a door,
Poetry makes a better day.

Yes yann, poetry does make "a better day". It also is a means to learn and gain inspiration ...even enlightenment. Splendid writing.

which is, or can be,
shared with the whole world.
Poetry.
Without it
I don't know
what in the world
I would do,
or think, or . . .

In all endeavors, motivation is key whether a rabbit or a baker. Watch them all long enough and poetry will be born, baked and eaten in sheer delight!

I thought I could stay away from poetry forever.
You're so right - poetry does open doors, and I've missed this door that leads to wherever your imagination and fingers (typing the keys) will carry you to.
