Quiet times alone like this I love to sit and reminisce I journey back to childhood days to revel in life's innocent ways Chasing down the ice~cream truck find a penny~ it brings good luck Dishing up delicious mud~pies catching ladybugs and butterflies Building castles out of sand the warmth of Daddy's big strong hand Hula hoops, hopscotch and kick the can monsters under the bed and the bogeyman Bedtime stories, Saturday cartoons making music, with Mommy's silver spoons Piggy~back rides and picnics at the lake beaters to lick, when Granny would bake Memories filled with happiness and love an abundance of blessings from above A reminder, that we should keep near all of the things that we hold dear © Poet In Pink |

I certainly agree with the words, and feelings and memories, my friend. And on another note, I haven't seen a photo of Marty in a long time, but every time I see you I'm sure reminded of her . . . like I'm seeing a younger version (of course, I see ghosts too! j. |
