Will I be remembered
In tender words of sweet recall?
Will I stir memories at all?
If so, what shall they be?

For far too long a time
I allowed no expectations
Considered hopes affectations
Not for the likes of me.

But now, I fantasize
Look past the barren emptiness,
Embrace my share of happiness
And all because of you.

I sink not into bleak
But look past empty, allow dreams
Plan for a future, wish and scheme
For ways to be with you.

Nourishing a parched soul
You bless my life exquisitely
My heart I give you completely
Now and forevermore

So if I leave some mark
That lets me linger on one's mind
No one should be surprised to find
Your name superimposed.

Me, I've always loved coming in here and finding you . . . doesn't matter whether the piece is new, old or any of those yesterdays . . . Always, you've been special to me.

This days is no different.

Enjoyed, my friend . . .
