I'm experiencing one of those rare times when I'm on a writing streak, so bare with me, I'll try not to over-post. Here's my favorite from this streak so far: ------- You Are Here You are here listening to the sound of the train as it disappears a metaphor for your love in vain you have no idea where you're going whether east or west the only sound is the wind blowing and it sounds like loneliness She is there never spending a thought on you she's unaware and she's moving on without you and the time ticks by unaffected by your best laid plans and every hope you've collected slip through your fingers like sand Here at the end of this you search for traces of every kiss and everything you'll ever miss about her here you contemplate surrender you tell yourself you won't ever forget her You are here listening to the sound of the rain thinking on all the years without her "Whatever makes you weird is probably your greatest asset"-Joss Whedon [This message has been edited by soul drifter (05-21-2017 12:51 AM).] |

Your word choices are pure perfection...and wearing your heart on your sleeve never looked so good. |
