Nodding at a blind man, what does he care? Just another form of lie, you've always one to share Taking what you can from a man that has no eyes, may gain favor from the devil, but it's all that is despised It was 'love', you said so boldly And it was I that did believe Like nodding to a blind man, your heart I couldn't see Still, I'll take the gamble, for that's what hearts do best Come wrap your hellish arms around me and be damned for all the rest Just out looking for the real me... |

Of all the things we're willing to sacrifice for love, the first seems to be our body then our mind and soul is quick to follow. And I don't know that we are half so blind as we are desperate. ~L |

quote:Well said Lori Rhoden. I believe these two (emotional blindness and desperation) come in a variety of blends. You're quite right. Thanks so much for the visit and your depth of consideration. ![]() Just out looking for the real me... |

I believe nodding at a blind man is simply trying to undo some of our past indiscretions within our hearts. ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

"Intuition" it seems, is a virtue awarded to women by default. Most are born with it and with good reason, having us guys to deal with on so many levels. So a man's "intuition" is rarely mentioned. We just seem to be happy enough to be recognized as "experienced". You have a great deal of 'experience' Mr. Bolton and I feel privileged to have you share some of it with me in your replies. Many thanks Sir! Just out looking for the real me... |
