It doesn’t hurt to look
I’ll hear you as you hear me
Each saying what we want to hear
I’ll feel you as you feel me
Our touch can be deceiving
I’ll treat you as you treat me
...and you’ll hate it

I see you are gnawing on the bone of truth, PU. I'm glad you unburied it to share with us. I always try to treat people the way I want to be treated. When I start contemplating treating them like they treat me...I'm mad. ~L

Truer words have never been uttered. To be honest, completely honest in how we treat those we come into contact with is something not many can boast of. Sad, but a gospel-like truth.
