I'll always remember this one With the greatest regret Because out of the blue today I found out that my only Son Had passed away .... And we had never even met As my past returned With the present to collide I was then to learn I had a grandchild And now I have this quandary Of what I should do So I think it is up to you Charlie But please know I am here for you.... Though the flesh and body Of life are yours alone You are part of the tree Made up of your Dad and Me... So You shall always dwell in the depths of my soul "Ignorance is the Enemy...." |
