I feel a touch of wonder- As I watch the children play. And marvel at how quickly, That joy will fade away. No thought just now of future- All that will come in time. They will look back in sorrow- At moments so sublime. For life is, O, so fleeting- Your birth, you dream, you’re gone… And memories of better times- Just somehow linger on. Stop and smell the flowers Love and laugh and cry- Enjoy fleeting pleasures- For tomorrow you may die. |
