"Have you found me? Oh, my enemy". The words come forth unbidden. As terrors loose my captive tongue Reveal emotions hidden. "Is it now?" A craven cry- A gasping coward’s breath; I never dreamed I'd shrink and cringe- When face to face with Death. "Right now?” Oh, God, the shame of it! I've so much left to do. How can my life so quickly pass- Before my plans are through?" "Ah, well...I guess at last I'll see- What lies beyond the veil. Of good or evil, life or death- From which my spirit quails." I'll try to brace my trembling knees- And make myself to stand- And as I feel Death's chilling breeze- I'll reach and take his hand. |

quote: Well, I have to just here and be jealous of this. I think I gave up somewhere in the making plans stage, so have no plans to lament. Bad case of apathy I guess, though I know not which name applies to your case? Death is only the enemy if we choose him to be, John. This I do know. Michael |
