A travesty is what I’d call- The mess my life’s become. I have to wonder how it is- I’ve got from where I’ve come. There was a time I laughed a lot- And smiled quite often, too. But now my life somehow becomes A bluer shade of blue. I’ve always cherished music- And often had the urge- To sing of life and sunshine- My song’s become a dirge. Friends and family have I none- The good thing, I suppose- Is not that I am so alone- But I outlived all my foes. I’ve yet one foe to face, I guess- Ere I draw my last breath… And he may prove to be a friend- I speak of course of Death. |

I'd have to say Whoa..you're too young to go, & your rhyme is much better than mine. Sky~ ~ Cherish Everything ~ |

Death is a lot like me I've come to realize. Wanders around a lot, often alone, and puts in way too many hours. We should treat him to a drink me thinks...bets he has lots of fascinating tales he could share with us... and I do not believe him an enemy. Michael |

I can relate. As in every crisis there is a friend and a foe, when the time comes no one knows? |
