Do you ever wonder when all past transgressions, laid hard across my heart might be forgiven for the ghosts of tears they still bring to haunt me? Tangled history is braided thick with present love and I can hear the black cords stretching, thirsty for our souls and again listening for where the doubts dwell this time. Perhaps I will not be able to forgive but I know that I can heal when your hands finally are empty of excuses and full of me. How long shall we stand here this time? "How much is real? Forever is highly overrated! Would trade a lifetime of empty promise for one day true and real love any day.
