There are things that I could touch.
You've offered
and mentioned plenty,
but most of all
and just to start
my fingers stretch
and ache for your face.
They want the soft drag from lobe
across a landscape of jaw
to stand at that pillowed entry
to your tongue
and all that it holds.
I want to kiss closed
your lids
where round moonless skies
float,
and feel my stare fall in
when you open them.
