The barbarians are at the gate
with no one to defend the state.
My country is on its knees
before the worst of humanity,
bowed by injustice and anarchy.
Those unclean in mind and spirit
have taken control
in an effort to steal America's soul.
Servile leaders rush to appease.
Craven cowards...Get up off your knees!
A once brave nation cowers in fear.
Fear, not of oppression,
as you may have heard
but fear of a single, mind-numbing word.

This war is far deeper and has been going on far longer than many people realize... even, and especially, many who are directly responsible for the waging of it. just my two cents...and kudos to you for speaking out, Ida.

One word is all it takes sometimes. I wish better ones were used then maybe we could heal.
