His hands are rough and calloused. He works hard because that’s just the way a man should do. His wants and needs are simple. He’s not one for pretty words. But if he says he loves you you know that it is true. His touch is warm and tender and means more than he knows. Feelings of the warm and fuzzy sort aren’t something that he shows. Pity his poor wife this much as she is like a cat rubbing at his ankles purring for a touch, waiting for a sweet crumb of words to come falling from his lips. She loves him with all her heart, her mind, soul and rounded hips. She dreams of doing dishes, and having him hug her from behind just to nibble on her neck, as she drinks her morning coffee while sitting on the flower covered deck. LGR©4/15/17 |

This is beautiful, Lori, made so because it flowed from your grandiose heart. ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

Sometimes, in the calm of morning, for a fleeting moment...dreams can come true. Thinking is still the best way to travel. Pass the Glade if you're going to do that here... |

Thanks Jerry, I'm glad it didn't come across as whiney as it felt when I wrote it.~L |
