Old memories still haunt me- From the days when I was young. There are times that I am homesick For the place from which I sprung. I’ve agonized and analyzed Mistakes that I have made. But I guess that introspection Is a poet’s stock in trade. You can’t undo the past, friend So, it’s best to move along. You ought to be pro-active Even if you get it wrong. It is best to be decisive- Go on and press ahead- There is time enough for napping After you are dead. |
