TIME Time is the tortoise Time is the hare Sometimes moves slowly And then you are there It’s there as a blessing As well as a curse To give you life’s treasures Or give you much worse It creeps and it sprints When you’re unaware Until you have journeyed But it doesn’t care It gives you reminder That life is but short But none of us listen And lesson is naught That’s all I can tell ya And all that I know Time gives an innings And then we just go |
