14 June 2004 Thank you, God, for redefining barriers … to folding mountain blues and golden greens and exquisitely patterned snakes on rocks and sunshine shoulders. Thank you for thorns and rocky pathways and steep, slippery pathless slopes. Thank you for breathlessness and getting lost and cold and hot. Thank you for teaching that triumph is not reaching the summit, but descending the other side. It is subsiding panic and escalating peace and turning my trials into trails for others to follow. Thank you for every mountain. |

Sky (although I prefer the name AugustSky) I am so sorry to hear about the flooding in your region. However, it brings (happy) tears to my eyes, that it uplifted your spirit. Sending my prayers for all those affected, and for the best possible solutions as soon as possible. |
