A Poem to Make Her Swoon heart and pen a series of winding connections made from the sinew of my dreaming everlasting baby emotional combustion I am the fuse these bones slide along imperfection taking a series of rooms for each numberless thought like screaming trains that crash and derail to flow from me and blood clot the page and in my spidery veins a crazed rush hour of tourists for love or money but poets die penniless don’t they so what’s a word slinging idiot to do a poem to make her swoon "Put your ear down close to your soul and listen hard" -Anne Sexton |

"...so what's a word slinging idiot to do..." I love this line! Love can make idiots of us all and I think word slingers might be the most susceptible. Enjoyed ~L |
