Fair to middlin' of nowhere

You’ll have to forgive
my new found fondness
of banjos;
my playful euphemism
for gluteus maximus.
I can’t say it
without smiling.
I thinks it’s more fun
than saying buns.
Banjo, by far
is the way to go.
And don’t you know
that a baby’s banjo,
is as cute as they come.

"Banjo" sounds great, Miss Lori, and I agree with it over "buns", too.

Oddly enough, the word (as you use it) is closely related to "benjo"...which is/was a
ditch used as a means of 'transporting' shall we say, "organic waste" in areas of Southeast Asia
that I spent some 'quality time' in.

Fun fact? Or should it be tossed in the benjo?

Fun fact fer sure Bluesy.
Language is so cool.
I don't have an ear for learning a different language...I have a hard enough time understanding the variations of English.

It is supposed to snow tonight and I've got a 3 day weekend coming. Think I'll be spending a lot of time on my banjo. ~L

They canceled the snow, but the wind chill is supposed to be in the single digits. Forecast for the banjo remains the same. BTW, my chair does not look the least bit like that.

Sorry about the lack of snow, Miss Lori, and for the blustery winds...

But the chair? Well, I'm sorry about that too...it was a 'thrift-shop special.

You see, I don't know you well enough to shop at Lazy Boy.

(Oh! BTW...I'd wager you don't look like that either...which I suspect, you were also alluding to!)
