if I could make a wish
a kaleidoscope wish
multi-faceted in its possibilities
to awake each morning
to her cotton-candy breath
to her warm mouth cozy
against the hollow of my neck
feeling her fingers on my chest
listening to her heartbeat
beating out a drumbeat with mine
if this were possible
if this miracle could happen
I would be the luckiest
happiest man in the world
understanding I would be unable
to find that same feeling
from anyone but her

I've always felt that women possess great power
to tame the strongest of men.

As a boy, I felt that way about girls too.

Your poetry covers why I feel (and felt) that way, Jerry.

Thank you, Bluesy, I pretty much felt the same way concerning the feminine sex early on in my life . . . Eh . . . Great minds really do think alike, don't they.
