The place was hoppin' tonight I sat up front next to the dance floor Definitely had my boogie shoes on Ready and waiting to be jazzed The sax player was a real looker I could not help but notice him He sure knew how to make that Sax yakkity yak and then some He had a groove in his move His deft fingers slid smoothly It was those saxy lips that got me He sure knew how to use them Every note seeped into my soul The rhythmic beat devoured me My body melded into the melody I was immersed within his reedy trill Before I knew it he was off the stage Standing before me with a twinkle in his eyes Seductively serenading me as I danced My body fused with each drawn out note Yeah Baby Sax Me Up © Poet In Pink |
