how could I forget Angie
or Dallas, Texas
or Jimmy and Angie's sister
I've forgotten her name
Angie had red hair
Jimmy and her sister lived together
they set me up with a blind date with Angie
the four of us went dancing
Angie and I melded into each other's arms
on that dance floor
some hope-to-hit-it-big country band
was kicking ass
had us clinging to each other
oblivious to everyone else
by the time Angie and I made it to my apartment
we had groped each other senseless
on that dance floor
Jimmy and her sister were long gone
we were on the sofa
having a nightcap and sucking
on each other's tongues
after awhile I said, how about let's go into the bedroom?
she said, "You'll have to pick me up and carry me."
I said, huh?
she said it again
so what's a guy to do in a situation like that
right
I stood, gathered her into my arms
and we played house the rest of the night
Angie and I were an item after that
she was a good person
dynamite in bed
we'd probably still be together
except for that terrible night
when her eight-year-old daughter
came into the room
where we were physically performing
quite loudly I think
she said . . .
I'LL CALL THE POLICE!

It sounds like you were being quite the rascal, dear Jerry. This made me smile with a hint of a giggle. You must have been terribly embarrassed.

I always have time for you...

I must admit, Clare, it did stop the action for a while, that's a fact! Heh.Heh Thank you for stopping by and giving me your thoughts.

Thoroughly enjoyed reading this 'exploit' of yours, Jerry.
I also can appreciate the feelings you expressed for her, the 'attachment' if you will.
But this response to Miss Clare was a true classic:
quote:
"...it did stop the action for a while"
Ha-ha-ha! I'll bet!!

Yeah . . . wilts the carrot every time, doesn't it (but the rewards later are often even greater).

Had to laugh, my friend, really enjoyed the levity.
