Destiny By Paul Wilson Before I leave this world there’s so many things I want to do Before I leave this world there’s so many things I want to say to you Seems like life is over before we have the time to fulfill our dreams Another day lost forever or so it seems To have a chance to do all we want to do to dream a dream and it come true To see all your inner thoughts just to spend another day with you River of dreams and memories running dry feelings we never get to explore Tomorrow may be our last day never knowing what’s beyond the distant shore I’ve climbed mountains most my life Just to see the other side Fighting my way thru life never really satisfied Born during the time of my youth our future… could not be denied A billion stars light up the night sky only two destined to collide We’ve had a lifetime to share and build a bond just you and me Someday we will be together again For all of eternity This our “Destiny“ Copy Righted 1-6-19 ~~To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you~~ Paul |
