I awake early and I have nothing to say but your name. I awake early and I have nothing to remember but your face. I am the wild beast, who, after being befriended, turns to bite the hand so gentle and understanding. I awake early and I have nothing to scream but your name. ©????????? - Hollywood, California ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

A scent of regret in your poetry, Jerry. Time we call our own takes us down familiar roads, doesn't it? But I believe it's the untravelled road that renews us. So, these days, I like to keep more in the windshield than in the rear view mirror. A toast then, my friend...to "Nanette"...and you! ...just bein' Bluesy |

if you can, and I know it's difficult to do, but always remember, all things in our lives, teach us, and are meant to mentor us along in our journey...we get to chose....or not...so, sending hugs....for brighter days to shine down on you. |
