I play
with water and air,
sunshine at my back,
fingers just touching
the surface tension enough
to hide the splashing
of my tears
kissing the sky’s
reflection in the pool
where birds love
to bathe.

I miss your eyes
looking at me,
from there.
Your smile
kissing me,
from there.

And Oh, your Love
like the wind
from the sea
touching me
everywhere.

Enveloping my soul,
like God’s own love,
in the folds
of ecstasy.
