S unshine bathes my soul in the joy of a new day U nder the pear tree squirrels play tug of war M arigolds sway softly shaking off the dew of morn M erry little sparrows splish splash in the fountain E verything in nature is alive and vibrant R attling cicadas sing out a melodious song D etermined to spread the news of impending weather A soft breeze stirs the trees and my senses , I Y earn for more tranquil times as this, but S ummer is waning quickly so each day I cherish © Poet In Pink |
