Polish the trumpets and dust off your flutes,
Ready those cymbals, violas and lutes.
String up old cellos, rosin your fiddles,
Practice your “ho” and your “hey diddle diddles”.

Pick up that piccolo, blow the French horn,
Bring out the saxophone tarnished and worn.
Amp up your guitar then strum that old Strat,
Bang on the drum and oil your hi-hat.

Tickle the dulcimer with an old turkey feather,
We’re getting the band back together.
