Baby, did your mommy leave you? In the dark side of the alley Baby did your mommy leave you? In the dark side of the alley? Speak to me child Speak to me now! Speak to me baby I was there, I was there! I felt everything because I was that She just left me to fend off all the predators That is what the baby told me Knife in hand she could barely understand That is what a baby told me A baby told me A baby told me Dark side of me The dark side of me The dark side of me In memorie While young, that was the dark side of me Running in life, The dark side of me The dark side of me The dark side of me No fear, no fear now I do not need shine or wealth, just a pen and some paper for my health |
