Everything looks shellacked as the moonlight cast upon the wetness. Like a mother’s hum to her child, the rain murmured to the soil. The soil so needy it soaked up the water as fast as it fell. The raindrops fell so quietly, no slumber was disrupted. There were no flashes of light nor rumblings of thunder to accompany the soft shower. It fell acapella. LGR(C)4/25/18 |

Excellent writing, Lori, I especially was taken with this line . . . "Like a mother’s hum to her child," ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |

There was a good soaking rain that fell like that a few nights ago...and it too was quiet. "It fell acapella", was a great way to describe it, Miss Lori. ...just bein' Bluesy |

Bluesy, I had a typo in the first line. Did you catch that? and not tell me? no bueno. I've fixed it now. Everything is cool. |
