A Lifetime Long The first Spring blossoms and the final falling leaves are like bookends for the flowing years. As each day dissolves in Time, if you insist that the Spring breeze and Autumn wind hold no compassion, then why do they bring me so much magnificent beauty on the ephemeral breath of heaven, from beyond this world of such yearning where some such as I wait a lifetime long for love to appear ? --- b. e. adams (3/1/2017) |

Spring and autumn being bookends to the flowing years...like this image. But what happened to winter? This the flowing years? It being winter now, brr brr, can't say these are flowing days. That aside, methinks one should not put much faith in that that task of looking and finding love. You're right, it can take a lifetime for it to happen. or not. So let it be, que sera sera |

Love, true love comes but once and never leaves us. How can we know this? Because it exists within us and when we stop denying it's presence, we'll discover it and so will others. Like a two-way radio, it broadcasts and receives...in any season. Good, heartfelt poetry Mr. Adams. Pass the Glade if you're going to do that here... |
